Bal de Neige 2019

ABOUT the Bal

The Bal de Neige is an annual charity event in Oakville which originated to support children and their families affected by childhood cancer. Since its inception, it has grown to include charities providing assistance to children and families in need. The funds raised at the Bal have been directed to Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation, Kerr Street Mission, ArtHouse and this year we are happy to again be supporting Lighthouse Program for Grieving Children and Wellspring Birmingham Gilgan House. 

The Bal de Neige is organized and run by a team of volunteers who have been directly affected by cancer and are dedicated to improving the lives of those in need in their community. The volunteer efforts are supported by a generous group of sponsors, participants, donors and volunteers.  Participation and fundraising is targeted to a network of friends and family in Oakville and the GTA who are connected to "Team Alex."  The Bal seeks to honour Alex's memory through this and other events which provide friendship, laughter, and community-building, while generating funds in support of children and families in need.
